We can't work this hard on an empty stomach, so for those of you who are just joining us here in Raleigh, NC, or if you're local and looking for something new to try, we'd like to share some of our favorite restaurants in town.
Raleigh Top Restaurants
The Angus Barn. Since 1960, the Angus Barn has been a local stop for everything from shrimp cocktails to filet mignon. With their extensive wine selection and hand-crafted classic cocktails, there's no shortage of liquid courage behind this bar. The atmosphere makes for a great place to have parties or business meetings, and the menu boasts options for everyone who gathers around the table.
Bella Monica. This restaurant has served its community for over two decades, stuffing them with Italian cuisine, much like everyone's favorite Nonna. With hearty portions and homemade dishes, they cook up all the fan favorites, from pasta to pizza, and remember to grab some cannolis on the way out!
Glenwood Grill. Inspired by North and South Carolina coastal cuisines, Glenwood Grill has a modern atmosphere yet serves you the classics. But, of course, they include plenty of options for the meat-eaters in your group. From their mushroom stroganoff to their red-wine braised short ribs, you won't go hungry in this building, especially if you attend their Sunday brunch.
Wye Hill Kitchen & Brewing. This beautifully remodeled building was saved by the owners of Wye Hill Kitchen & Brewing. Unfortunately, this structure was damaged from torrential rains, but Sara and Chris have brought it back to life so that this town could dine with a beautiful panoramic view of downtown Raleigh. They pride themselves on their craft beer selection and their delicious menu items, making this newly refurbished restaurant hit the top charts in our town.
Cortez Seafood and Cocktail. This eatery centers itself around fresh seafood and Mexican cuisine, morphing the two into an unbeatable combo. From grilled whole fish to snapper ceviche, the menu includes items that fuse seafood and Mexican cuisine in a hearty harmony. In addition, they offer a new twist on a myriad of Mexican dishes.
